What is the plan?

What’s the plan?

As the self-proclaimed webmaster of the Region-D site, I ask myself, what do I want to have here? What do I need to bring that will attract fellow riders? How can I get people to register and be able to see what is available to the members of EWMA Region-D? I would like to see more participation in the development of this site. For example, get the District & Chapter Directors to write posts to talk about past events, parties, and social gatherings. I would also like to see members at large submit posts about their activities. If they went for a trip, what happened, what did they see, and submit pictures. They don’t need to be web designers. Just submit the post and if need be, I’ll fix it up and make it look wonderful.

First Try

This is my first try at doing this.

You need to add a widget, row, or prebuilt layout before you’ll see anything here. 🙂

About

Welcome to the EWMA Washington District website. The District Office is currently located in Spokane, WA. We don’t care if you’re on two, three, or eighteen wheels. All that matters is that you are a Motorcycle Enthusiast.

You will find that many of the country’s best motorcycle rides fall within the borders of Washington (WA) state. We are blessed with a vast diversity of breathtaking scenery, including the Pacific coast, the Olympic Peninsula, the Cascade Mountains, the incredible Columbia River basin, and the arid rolling hills of eastern Washington.

Although areas west of the Cascades are generally heavily populated, many outstanding motorcycle roads abound if you know where to look. The Cascades offer great mountain motorcycle riding along with wonderful destinations like Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. St. Helens State Parks. There is also the North Cascades Highway. Winding roads, glorious mountains, beautiful lakes, and waterfalls. Not to mention destinations such as Winthrop, Marblemount, and Diablo Lake. To the south, the areas around the Columbia River are home to endless, magnificent, and winding motorcycle roads.  There are also the Blue Mountains.  What glorious scenery to behold.
